Monday will Never be the Same

Those of you who are eagerly awaiting our first post from the road are going to have to wait another day. The wheel that was ordered for Thom's bike was not the right size. So we had to order another wheel that we will pick up in Paso Robles on Monday. Then we will drive back to Seaside and be on the road hopefully on Tuesday.

While some of you may be disappointed, there is some good news. Thom, Claudia and I will get to drive the first day's route on Monday when we go to Paso Robles. It is always better to know a route you will be riding. Also the weather forecast is for 10 degrees cooler on Tuesday than is forecast for Monday. The difference between the upper 80's and the upper 70's is significant. So while we are discouraged we aren't starting on Monday, we are happy that we can see the route and will have cooler weather.
